Gulf Bridge International Accelerates its Transformation with Four Key Hires
Doha, Qatar: Gulf Bridge International (GBI), a high-performance low-latency global connectivity provider, has appointed Jim Clarke as its Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Gavin Rea as its Chief Technical Officer (CTO), Joseph Jabakhanji as its Head of Sales, and Ergin Kilinc as Director of Enterprise Sales and Business Development. The appointments are part of a transformation strategy spearheaded by CEO Cengiz Oztelcan and continue to position GBI as a leader in digital experience and customer service.
Clarke joins GBI from Telstra where he was Director for Global Connectivity and Networks. He is responsible for the execution of both the wholesale and enterprise sales strategy and the leadership of GBI’s commercial activities. Rea joins GBI after 17 years at BT, where he was Head of Subsea Centre of Excellence. He brings a depth of experience in design, implementation, operation and maintenance of subsea cable networks to his role as CTO.

Jabakhanji joins GBI from Tata Communications where he was Director of Sales – MENA. He is a veteran of the MENA telecoms industry with a track-record of driving revenue growth and profitability. Kilinc has over two decades of industry experience with a background in business development, marketing and customer care. He has supported the business and sales efforts of Data Centre experts Radore and Canovate Group as well as Turk Telecom and Intel.
